When people are looking for a new career or are thinking about what line of work they should go into, they often turn to career counseling services or to vocational counseling services. Many people who are just entering the workforce for the first time or are reentering the workforce go to career counselors or vocational counselors for assistance. Most career and vocational counselors assess a client's aptitudes as well as their interests through testing processes and interviews. The career counselor will then often recommend to the client what line of work they should think about doing. Most often career and vocational counseling services are for blue color workers, industrial workers or workers in service industry jobs.
